54th CISF Raising Day observed on March 10 across the country.

The CENTRAL Industrial Security Force (CISF) is observed on March10 every year to commemorate the establishment of CISF in 1969.CISF is a federal police organisation in India under the Ministry of Home Affairs. It is a police force or police organisation that has been designed to facilitate the security of industrial units in the country. Hence, it consists of adequately qualified officers who defend enterprises from theft and other crimes. Across the globe, it is the largest industrial security force.

Correction Window will be Closed Tomorrow for ICAI CA May-June Exam 2023

The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India will close the correction window for CA May-June 2023 exam tomorrow, March 10, 2023. Candidates, who feel that they have made any mistake while filling out their application form, can rectify the same. The application correction window for the CA May-June exam 2023 was opened on March 4, 2023. 

Exam Schedule 
For the CA exam in May 2023, the foundation course exam will be held on 24, 26, 28, and 30 June 2023. The exams for Intermediate courses will be held on May 3, 6, 8, and 10, 2023, for Group I and on May 12, 14, 16, and 18 for Group II. The final course exams will be held on May 2, 4, 7, and 9, and for Group II on May 11, 13, 15, and 17.

Conrad Sangma sworn-in as Meghalaya Chief Minister for 2nd term

Conrad Kongkal Sangma was sworn in as the Meghalaya chief minister for the second successive term in the presence of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Governor Phagu Chauhan administered the oath of office to Sangma, along with his two deputies Prestone Tynsong and Sniawbhaland Dhar, and nine other ministers. Sangma won from the South Tura constituency with a margin of 5,016 against Bharatiya Janata Party’s Bernard N Marak, as per the data shared by the Election Commission of India on March 2.

Manik Saha sworn in as 13th CM of Tripura.

EXERCISE (TROPEX-23) INDIAN NAVY’S LARGEST WAR GAME

Indian Navy’s major Operational level exercise TROPEX for the year 2023, conducted across the expanse of IOR over a duration of four months from Nov 22 - Mar 23, culminated this week in the Arabian Sea. The overall exercise construct included Coastal Defence exercise Sea Vigil and the Amphibious Exercise AMPHEX. Together, these exercises also witnessed significant participation from the Indian Army, the Indian Air Force and the Coast Guard.

Delhi international airport among cleanest in Asia-Pacific, says ACI

Delhi airport has been ranked among the cleanest airports in Asia-Pacific as a part of Airport Council International (ACI)’s annual service quality award. ACI is a trade association of global airports.The airport service quality award is based on passenger surveys carried out to rate customer satisfaction on the day of travel.
The surveys cover over 30 performance indicators across key elements of a passenger’s airport experience such as ease of finding your way, check-in, shopping, and dining offerings.

According to ACI, 144 awards have been won by 75 airports globally based on over 465,000 surveys collected in 2022.

BBC Indian Sportswoman of the Year Award was launched in 2019 to celebrate sportswomen in India who have made their mark on the world stage.

INDO-FRANCE JOINT MILITARY EXERCISE FRINJEX-2023 TO COMMENCE AT THIRUVANANTHAPURAM

The maiden Joint Military Exercise FRINJEX-23 between Indian Army and French Army will be conducted at Pangode Military Station, Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala on 07th and 08th March 2023. It is for the first time armies of both the nations are engaging in this format with each contingent comprising of a Company Group each from the Thiruvananthapuram based Indian Army troops and French 6th Light Armoured Brigade.

MP Patwari Exam 2023

Madhya Pradesh Employees Selection Board (MPESB) issued the admit cards of the candidates who applied for recruitment to a total of 9073 posts of Assistant Auditor, Patwari and others under Group-2 subgroup in various departments of the State Government of Madhya Pradesh. These admit cards have been issued on 6th March 2023. 

 

As per the official notice, the examination will be conducted by the board from March 15, 2023. Candidates going to appear in the exam have to follow the exam instructions given in the recruitment notification as well as the instructions given on the MP Patwari Admit Card 2023 download page.

NEET PG 2023 - Latest Update

NEET PG exam is scheduled to be held tomorrow on March 05, 2023. This exam will start at 9:00 am and end at 12:30 pm. However, the entry of examinees will start at 7:00 am and no candidate will be allowed after 8:30 am.

 

Required Documents at Exam Center 

 

Along with the admit card, the candidates will have to bring the latest passport-size photograph and valid photo ID. This includes Voter ID Card, Aadhaar Card, and Passport. Without these documents, candidates will not be given entry at the center. Candidates must follow the instructions given on the admit card.

 

Things Banned at the Exam Center

 

Electronic devices like mobile phones, tablets, calculators, watches, Bluetooth, etc. are not allowed inside the exam center.

Any jewelry like rings, earrings, chains, bangles, etc., and purse, belt, spectacles, etc. are not allowed to be brought to the examination center.

Tata Steel Mining signs MoU with GAIL to get clean fuel

In order to reduce carbon footprint in its operations, Tata Steel Mining Limited has signed a memorandum of understanding with GAIL (India) Limited for supply of natural gas to its ferro alloys plant at Athgarh in Odisha’s Cuttack district. According to the MoU, GAIL will supply the agreed quantity of natural gas through its pipeline from Gujarat to Athgarh.

Union Ministry of Health & Family Welfare receives Porter Prize 2023

In a significant achievement towards recognizing efforts in health sector and especially COVID management, Ministry of Health and Family Welfare (MoHFW), Government of India received the Porter Prize 2023. The prize was announced at “The India Dialog” organized by Institute for Competitiveness (IFC) and US Asia Technology Management Center (USATMC) at Stanford University, on February 23 & 24, 2023. MP Board Class 12th Exams to be Postponed

The 12th class examinations from the Madhya Pradesh Board of Secondary Education are going to start on 02 March 2023. Meanwhile, the MP Board has made changes in the 12th date sheet. The 12th examination to be held on March 24 has been postponed. The board has also released the revised timetable. As per the schedule released by the MP Board, the class 12th examination was earlier scheduled to end on 01 April 2023. After the postponement of the March 24 exam, now the 12th examination will end on April 05. As per the information released by the board, the date of the three papers that were held on 24th March 2023 has been changed. The drawing and design paper will be held on March 25. Earlier, this paper was to be held on March 24. Whereas the Sociology paper will be held on April 3 and the Psychology paper will be held on April 5. The examination of these two subjects was also to be held earlier on March 24.
