1. Pre-Matric Scholarships Scheme for Minorities

This scholarship aims at the empowerment of minority classes through education and leads to the encouragement of the socio-economic conditions of minority communities. The scholarship will be granted for studies in India in a government or private school from class I to class X.

Eligibility

• Scholarship will be available to the students of minority communities studying in Classes I to X. 
• Scholarship will be awarded to the students who have secured not less than 50% marks in the previous final examination 
• Annual income of their parents from all sources does not exceed Rs. 1.00 lakh.
• A student shall be eligible for only one scholarship out of all the available Scholarships of the Central Government meant to SC/ST/OBC/minority. 

Award

• Admission fee for Class 6 to 10 (Both Hostellers and Day Scholars): Rs. 500 per annum
• Tuition fee for Class 6 to 10 (Both Hostellers and Day Scholars): Rs. 350 per month
• Maintenance allowance for 10 months in an academic year (Day Scholars): Rs. 100 per month for Class 1 to 5
• Maintenance allowance for 10 months in an academic year (Both Hostellers and Day Scholars): Rs. 600 per month for Hostellers and Rs. 100 per month for Day Scholars

2. Post Matric Scholarships Scheme for Minorities

The objective of the scheme is to award scholarships to meritorious students belonging to economically weaker sections of minority community to provide them better opportunities for higher education, increase their rate of attainment in higher education and enhance their employability.

Eligibility

• Scholarship will be available to the students of minority communities studying in Classes I to X. 
• Scholarship will be awarded to the students who have secured not less than 50% marks in the previous final examination 
• annual income of their parents/guardians from all sources does not exceed Rs. 2.00 lakh.
• A student shall be eligible for only one scholarship out of all the available Scholarships of the Central Government meant to SC/ST/OBC/minority. 

Award

For 10 months in an academic year -

Rate of Scholarship Admission + Tuition Fee:

Admission and tuition fee Class XI & XII: Rs. 7,000/- per annum subject to actuals (both Hosteller & Day Scholar) 

Admission and course/tuition fee for technical and vocational courses of XI and XII level (Courses of one or more year of duration): Rs. 10,000/- per annum subject to actual (both Hosteller & Day Scholar)

Admission and tuition fee for UG & PG level: Rs. 3,000/- per annum subject to actuals (both Hosteller & Day Scholar)
 

Maintenance Allowance:

For Class XI & XII including Tech. & Voc. Course*: Rs. 380/- per month for Hosteller & Rs. 230/- per month for Day Scholar

For Courses other than Tech. & Prof. courses at UG & PG level*: Rs. 570/- per month for Hosteller & Rs. 300/- per month for Day Scholar

For M.Phil & Ph.D.*: Rs. 1,200/- per month for Hosteller & Rs. 550/- per month for Day Scholar

 

3. Kotak Kanya Scholarship
    

Kotak Kanya Scholarship is a scholarship programme run by the Kotak Mahindra Group Companies and implemented by Kotak Education Foundation to provide financial aid to meritorious girl students from underprivileged sections of society to enable them to pursue higher studies after passing out 12th class.

Under this scholarship, girl students who aspire to get admission into professional graduation courses like Engineering, Medical, Architecture, Design, Law, etc. after 12th will be provided a scholarship to pay their academic expenses till the completion of their degree.

Eligibility 

• Open for girl students all over India.
• Open for girl students across India.
• Meritorious girl students who have secured admission to first-year graduation programme from institutes of repute (NAAC accredited/NIRF ranked) for professional academic pursuits such as professional graduate courses like Engineering, MBBS, Architecture, Design, integrated LLB, etc.         
• Applicants must have scored 85% or more marks or equivalent CGPA in standard 12th board examinations.
• Applicant’s annual family income must be Rs 3,20,000 (Rupees Three Lakh Twenty Thousand) or less. 

Award

The scholarship amount of up to Rs. 1.5 lakh per year will be given to each selected student till completion of her professional graduation courses/degrees. The scholarship amount under Kotak Kanya Scholarship 2022 can be utilized only to cover academic expenses, including tuition fees, hostel fees (applicable only for on-campus hostel), internet, laptop, books, and stationery.

4. Education Scholarship Scheme for Army Personnel (ESSA) 

An Education Scholarship Scheme to promote education covers Serving Army Personnel pupils below 25 years of age studying in recognized schools/institutions across the country. This scholarship is a one-time scholarship granted as per the cut-off percentage of marks/grades under the Education Scholarship Scheme for Army Personnel (ESSA) on completion of class 9th to PG level of education.

Eligibility

• be below 25 years of age at the time of completion of class/course
• be a child of serving Army personnel including Defence Security Corp (DSC) and MNS Officer
• be studying in Class 9 to Postgraduate level

Award

The selected students will receive a scholarship based on the level of education for all categories as under - 

• Class IX to XI - Rs. 1,500 per annum
• Class X to XII - Rs. 3,000 per annum
• Graduation - Rs. 5,000 per annum
• Professional/PG courses - Rs. 10,000 per annum
• a merit certificate will be given to all eligible received applications.

5. All India Scholarship Test Exam (AISTE) 

AISTE is a merit-based nationwide education and scholarship programme directed at providing financial aid to students for their welfare and education to encourage their better growth. It is a multiple-choice exam conducted online mode where students get an opportunity to participate at the national level.

Eligibility
Students of Class 4th, 5th, 6th, 7th, 8th, 9th, 10th, 11th and 12th from all boards of education in India are eligible to appear in the MCQ based test held by AISTE.

 
Award
Among the total number of applicants, this scholarship will be awarded to the 62 top exemplary students on the basis of their performance in offline scholarship exam and interview.
National level awards-

• The 1st rank candidate will earn a scholarship worth Rs. 90,000, one-yearbook facilities and an Excellence Certificate
• The 2nd rank candidate will earn a scholarship worth Rs. 70,000, one-yearbook facilities and an Excellence Certificate
• The 3rd rank candidate will earn a scholarship worth Rs. 50,000, one-yearbook facilities and an Excellence Certificate

State-level awards-

• The 1st rank candidate will earn a scholarship worth Rs. 30,000 plus one-year books facilities and Excellence Certificates.

6. AAI Sports Scholarship Scheme 

AAI sports scholarship scheme is an initiative by the Sports Control Board, Airports Authority of India. This scholarship is for Indian students between the age of 14 to 25 years as of 31st March 2022. The aim of this scheme is to award Airport Authorities of India (AAI) Sports Scholarships to promising young players with a view of enhancing sporting standards in AAI as also encouraging young talents. 

Eligibility

• be an Indian Citizen above 14 years of age
• be players who represent India in Sub-Junior/Junior/Senior National Championships, All India Inter-University Tournaments, National School Games

Award

The amount of scholarships, to be granted to the awardees for a period of one year, will be as under-

• Over 14 years and under 18 years - Rs. 12000 /- per month
• Over 18 years - Rs. 16000 /- per month
