The drastic shift is not been witnessed in the final ranking. However the chances of selection depends on the performance and the overall percentile cutoffs.

Why the NEET 2024 Re-Exam?

The Re-NEET Exam became necessary due to challenges experienced by candidates at exam centers, leading to a significant loss of time for many. To mitigate the issue, grace marks were provided to affected candidates. However, this compensatory mark was challenged in the Supreme Court. After considering the plea, the Supreme Court ruled to invalidate the results for 1,563 candidates who had received the grace marks. NTA has scheduled the re-conduct of the NEET (UG) – 2024 exam for 1,563 candidates on June 23, 2024, with the results set to be released on June 30, 2024.

The results have been published, and the counseling is about to begin. However, the final verdict still awaits as the Supreme Court has yet to hear the case on July 8. Any conclusion about the NEET 2024 re-examination can only be made after this date. Students should remain patient and not worry, and await the final verdict.
